NICU Respiratory Therapist – Part-Time Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the NICU on a part-time night shift basis. You'll provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Days: Monday–Thursday
- Total: 24 hours/week
- No weekends
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: July 5, 2026
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to neonatal patients
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage respiratory equipment and support devices for newborns
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient status
Requirements
- Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification
- Specialty-specific competency validation required
- Pass required health screenings and background checks (details provided upon application)
- Immunizations required per facility policy (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and TB screening)
Scheduling Note
Hours are based on operational need. You may be reassigned to alternative shifts within the week or floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours.
