MRI Technologist | Day Shift | Easley, SC | 13-Week Contract

This travel MRI Technologist position is a Monday–Friday day shift role (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) with no call required. The 13-week contract begins September 21, 2026.

Clinical Scope

The MRI department serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across a broad range of diagnostic and clinical needs, including:

Neurological imaging (brain, cranial nerves, orbits, spinal trauma)
Musculoskeletal imaging (shoulder, knee, hip/bony pelvis, upper and lower extremity)
Body imaging (abdomen, female pelvis, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx)
Vascular studies (MRA, MRV) and MRCP
Advanced techniques including gradient echo, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, and diffusion coefficient mapping
Preparation and administration of contrast media; peripheral IV placement
Pediatric outpatient and adult outpatient/ICU-level cases

Requirements

ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred; first-time travelers must have at least 3 years
Minimum 1 year of experience with an electronic health record system required
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Scheduling & Float

Monday–Friday, no call, no weekend requirement
Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs

Compliance & Orientation

Orientation held every Monday
Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable
