Travel RN – Telemetry | Denver, CO | 13-Week Contract

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours/week guaranteed)

About the Unit

This telemetry/med-surg unit with PCU-level capabilities manages a mixed acuity patient population in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The unit is staffed by a strong team each shift, including a charge nurse, multiple RNs, floor CNAs, and a sitter.

Clinical Scope

• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• IV and Foley catheter starts
• Chest tube removal
• Care of post-operative cardiac patients, including post-CABG

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment skills and ability to manage a 4–5 patient assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
• Previous telemetry or PCU-level acute care exposure
