Nursing Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Unit

Position Details

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit in Wichita, KS.

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• Schedule: Every other weekend; no call requirements
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to medical-surgical patients, supporting the nursing team in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and post-operative recovery. This is a full-time night shift role with no on-call responsibilities.

Required Credentials & Vaccinations

• Current RN license (verification required)
• MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and influenza vaccinations
• Two-step PPD or IGRA (TB screening)
• Fit test clearance
• Driver's license or state ID

Pre-Hire & Onboarding Requirements

You'll complete core competencies assessment, EKG exam, skills checklist, criminal background check, and employment/education verification. EMR competency testing will be provided during onboarding.
