Cath Lab RN — Travel Contract | Canton, OH
4x10 Days | 07:30–18:00 | 13-Week Contract
This Cath Lab RN position is a day-shift role with on-call responsibilities in a busy interventional cardiology environment. The unit requires a confident, experienced clinician comfortable with circulating and documenting throughout a full range of cardiac catheterization procedures.
Schedule & Call
- Four 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- On-call every other weekend (or potentially every third weekend depending on staffing); approximately 2 weekday on-call days per week on non-call weekends, or 1 additional on-call day on weeks with weekend call
- Travelers must work at least every other holiday
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) Cath Lab experience; experience in circulating and documenting required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation is required
- ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments completed during orientation; candidates receive a maximum of two attempts to achieve passing scores
Additional Details
- One supervisor/manager reference from the past 12 months required at submission
- Background check required; no open cases accepted
- Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
- Pre-start orientation modules required (averaging 6–15 hours); 4 hours are billable
- Contract extensions available for up to 18 months; a 6-month break is required thereafter
This is a clinically demanding role suited to an experienced Cath Lab nurse who thrives in a high-acuity, procedurally intensive setting.
