Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment. This is a day shift position working 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Current ARRT N, CNMT, or NMTCB certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Compact state license in hand at submission
• Ability to start and maintain IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE

Clinical Scope

You will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures including:

• 3-phase imaging and exercise/rest studies
• Gastric emptying studies
• HIDA scans
• PET scans
• Uptake scans
• Ventilation/perfusion studies
• Whole-body imaging

You'll handle radioactive materials safely according to protocol and work within an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services.

Scheduling & Float

• Float required to outpatient department (nearby location)
• On-call weekend coverage only
• One pre-approved time off day during contract
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Additional Information

• 40-hour non-billable orientation
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
• Two professional references required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years)
• Must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities
