Medical-Surgical RN – Travel Contract | Utica, NY

Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Start Date: October 5, 2026

About the Unit

This Medical-Surgical unit cares for an adult patient population across a broad range of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery cases. Nurses will regularly utilize IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes in their day-to-day practice.

• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Requirements

• Active RN license in New York (or multistate compact equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience is required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Up-to-date resume documenting relevant experience
• Specialty-specific skills checklist
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
