Registered Nurse – ICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts in a fast-paced intensive care environment. This is a 13-week contract role.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Guaranteed hours throughout contract

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience
• Current RN license (GA or compact license required)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Ventilator management experience
• IV insertion and PICC line placement skills
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

Clinical Scope

You will deliver high-acuity patient care in a busy ICU setting, managing post-operative, critically ill, and ventilator-dependent patients. You'll perform vascular access procedures, monitor hemodynamics, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Flexibility & Requirements

• Must be willing to float to other departments across the facility campus as needed
• Department-based rotation schedule
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Charting via electronic medical record system
