ICU/CCU Nurse – Night Shift
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Location: Arcata, CA area
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in the facility's ICU/CCU, managing critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring vital signs and patient status, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
You may occasionally float to adjacent units to cover breaks and assist with patient care needs as required.
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
- ICU/CCU nursing experience required
