CT/X-Ray Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work nights in a diagnostic imaging department that serves patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 4 × 10 hours (Saturday–Tuesday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM)
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging views
- Perform diagnostic procedures in CT and X-ray modalities with equal proficiency
- Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile equipment in the OR, ER, and at bedside
- Adjust exposure settings and operate film processing equipment
- Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Prioritize workflow and communicate effectively with clinical teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting
- High proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
- Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Experience with all age groups
- Own vehicle required
Important Notes
- Requested time off must be noted at submission (maximum 5 days for the entire contract)
- All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; requests after offer may result in offer rescission
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) will not be considered
Dress Code
Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs. Closed-toe shoes; hair pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no dangling earrings.
