CT/X-Ray Technologist – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work nights in a diagnostic imaging department that serves patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: Nights, 4 × 10 hours (Saturday–Tuesday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM)
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: September 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging views
  • Perform diagnostic procedures in CT and X-ray modalities with equal proficiency
  • Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile equipment in the OR, ER, and at bedside
  • Adjust exposure settings and operate film processing equipment
  • Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
  • Prioritize workflow and communicate effectively with clinical teams

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
  • Minimum 2 years current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting
  • High proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
  • Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
  • Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Active American Heart Association BLS
  • Experience with all age groups
  • Own vehicle required

Important Notes

  • Requested time off must be noted at submission (maximum 5 days for the entire contract)
  • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; requests after offer may result in offer rescission
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Local candidates (within 50 miles) will not be considered

Dress Code

Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs. Closed-toe shoes; hair pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no dangling earrings.
