Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Richmond, VA

This contract opportunity places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Richmond, VA, caring for a diverse patient population across a cardiac-monitored acute care environment and a dedicated Rapid Treatment Area. The unit runs a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, ED technicians, and medics across both shifts.

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Positions Available: 1

Clinical Scope

• Full-scope emergency department nursing functions across acute and rapid treatment areas
• Cardiac monitoring throughout the unit
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support each shift

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC
• ENPC

• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• Weekend availability required
• No on-call required
