Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. You'll work day shift (06:30–17:00) on a 4x10-hour schedule, managing 8–10 diagnostic and interventional cases daily in a busy cath lab environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:30–17:00)
- On-call rotation: Weekends only (Friday 7 PM–Monday 7 AM)
- 30-minute response time required when on-call
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience (diagnostic, interventional, and structural cases)
- Active West Virginia license required at start; pending license accepted for application
- ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- ARRT registration required
- Competency across all aspects of cath lab operations
Clinical Scope
You will perform scrub and circulator duties, including equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, patient positioning, and case assistance. Responsibilities encompass diagnostic catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), stent placement, IABP placement/removal, cardiac implant closure device procedures, and dysrhythmia recognition and response.

- Permanent residence required within 100 miles of the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)

Compliance Notes
Two manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required. Full documentation due by noon Monday prior to start date. Orientation held every other Thursday.
