Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN to join its endoscopy unit on a 13-week contract. You'll deliver direct patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse, who provides shift-level oversight.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Up to 3 shift cancellations may occur during the contract period
Responsibilities
Perform nursing care functions in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing regulations and facility policies. Support patients through diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, assist with patient positioning and monitoring, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current Maine RN license or compact license
- Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and IV certification
- 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills; team-oriented approach
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) should be aware of local rate adjustments
- Contract Start: September 28, 2026
