Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a busy interventional cardiology and vascular program. You will support a high-volume lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour days: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 20-week contract
• Call requirement: 14–15 days of call per 6-week period (weekday calls 5:30 PM–7:00 AM; weekend calls Friday 5:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM, rotation-based)
• Weekend work expected
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
• No on-site call accommodations available
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Tech with IR background
• ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring, vascular access, and procedural support skills
• Travel assignment eligibility required

Clinical Scope

The lab handles approximately 280 cases monthly across four procedure rooms, including:

• Cardiac catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional)
• STEMI cases (8–12 per month)
• Percutaneous coronary interventions and stent placement
• Electrophysiology studies with ablations
• Temporary and permanent device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs)
• Peripheral vascular angiography and interventions
• Pain management procedures (RF ablation, joint/spine injections)

Patient Population

Adults and geriatric patients presenting with cardiac, vascular, and pain management needs.
