MRI Technician
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technician for the Medical Imaging department. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning
- Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize imaging protocols
- Maintain detailed imaging records and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid MRI Technician license or certification
- Demonstrated experience in MRI technology
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment
Onboarding Requirements
Candidates must complete standard credentialing, including:
- License/certificate verification
- Professional references
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- Tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Skills assessment
