Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehabilitation

Position Overview

Join an outpatient rehabilitation team providing patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while building expertise in post-operative joint rehabilitation as the facility welcomes a new total joint surgeon.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: Monday & Thursday, 10 AM–6:30 PM; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM
• Contract Duration: 15 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Start Date: September 21, 2026

Requirements

• New Hampshire or Compact PT license (or willingness to obtain temporary license)
• Outpatient experience required
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new electronic medical record systems

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations within scope of practice and departmental standards
• Verify and review provider orders; integrate lab values, vital signs, and medical information into treatment planning
• Administer formal standardized tests, scales, and assessment tools
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patient mobility and functional independence
• Demonstrate clinical sensitivity to the impact of chronic illness and acute care episodes on patients and families, considering age, physical/emotional health, social and economic circumstances, cultural background, and vocational needs
