Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Float

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend/holiday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 26-week contract

About the Role

You'll work as a float RN across multiple medical-surgical units, including orthopedics, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and general med-surg telemetry. You'll care for patients across varying acuity levels and must be flexible to rotate between units as needed. The role may also include assignments at an additional campus location approximately 9.5 miles away.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (active and in good standing)
• Ability and willingness to float to all assigned units
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

Required for Onboarding

• Current immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Drug screening and background check
• Physical/health statement and fit test
• Specialty competency assessment
