Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a 26-week contract assignment in medical-surgical telemetry. This is a night shift role with float responsibilities across multiple clinical units.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: September 1, 2026

Clinical Scope

You will float to medical-surgical floors including:

• Orthopaedics
• Medical-Surgical units
• Neurology Step Down
• Oncology
• Surgical Telemetry
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry

You must be willing to float to an additional campus location approximately 9.5 miles away. Experience with telemetry monitoring, post-operative care, and intermediate-acuity patients is essential.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Specialty competency testing in Med-Surg/Telemetry
• Standard onboarding credentials: drug screen, background check, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap), and tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Physical health statement and fit test
