Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 26-week contract assignment in medical-surgical telemetry. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend scheduling.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 26-week contract
• Start date: September 1, 2026

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll provide care across multiple medical-surgical units, including:

• Orthopaedic patients
• General medical-surgical floors
• Neurology step-down
• Oncology
• Surgical telemetry
• Medical-surgical telemetry

Float flexibility to all med-surg floors is required, including potential assignments at an alternate campus location.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license
• Willingness to float across multiple specialty units
• Standard onboarding credentials including background check, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and TB screening), fit test, and drug screening
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Abuse and mandatory reporting training
