Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Location: Des Moines, IA

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in the facility's ICU, supporting high-acuity patients throughout the night shift. This is a critical care nursing position where your clinical judgment and technical skills are essential to patient outcomes.

Required Credentials & Qualifications

• Current nursing license
• COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap vaccinations
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Background check, education verification, and drug screening
• Fit test and color vision assessment
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Physical/health statement

What to Expect

Standard onboarding requirements include skills checklist completion, system access setup, confidentiality and compliance training, and Joint Commission testing.
