Position Overview

The facility is seeking a CT Technologist to join the imaging department. You'll perform a wide range of CT studies across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ICU settings, working with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8-hour shifts
• Options: Night (19:00–03:30) or Mid (15:00–23:30)
• Start times may vary based on unit needs
• Weekend availability required based on unit census
• On-call as needed (23:00–07:30)
• No floating between units
• Contract: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT experience (first-time travel techs welcome)
• Active California license
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R
• Proficiency with Phillips CT scanners

Clinical Scope

You'll perform CT imaging including:

• Abdomen, chest, head, and vascular studies (with/without contrast)
• Emergency procedures: code strokes, CTA, pulmonary embolism protocols
• Advanced procedures: biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, drainage
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• Peripheral IV starts and aspirations
• Spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic) and musculoskeletal trauma imaging

Pre-Start Requirements

• Advanced EKG exam (80% minimum passing score; two attempts allowed)
• Completion of required modules prior to start
• Smoke/nicotine-free facility (must arrive free of tobacco odor)
• References and certifications required with submission

Facility Requirements

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
