Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Float Pool

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical float pool. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on an every-other-weekend and holiday schedule. This is a 26-week contract position with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Setting

You'll float across multiple medical-surgical units, including orthopedics, general medical-surgical, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and medical-surgical telemetry. Flexibility to work at an additional campus location (approximately 9.5 miles away) is required. A waiver for 24 consecutive hours without a break-in-between (NBO) is available if needed.

Requirements

Current RN license (verification required)
COVID-19 vaccination
MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, and Tdap immunizations
Two-step tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA)
Drug screening and fit test
Physical/health statement

Standard onboarding requirements include background check, education and license verification, competency testing specific to your specialty, and completion of required training modules (code of conduct, confidentiality, abuse reporting, and system access).
