Cardiac Intervention Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Intervention Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract beginning ASAP. You'll work in a busy interventional cardiac and structural heart radiology suite managing a diverse caseload in a 3-room setting with an average daily census of 15.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM)
- Call: 3 shifts per 2-week period (weekday call: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM; weekend call every 6 weeks: Friday 4:00 PM–Monday 7:00 AM)
- Flexibility: May float to nearby sister facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years cardiac intervention radiology experience
- California state radiologic technologist license (required at submission)
- California CRRT state license
- ACLS, ARRT R, and Fluoroscopy Permit
- Two professional references covering the last year
Clinical Scope
You'll perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, angiography, stent placement, TAVR, embolization, TIPS, IVC filter placement/removal, pacemaker insertion, vascular closure, and structural heart interventions. You'll manage vascular access, maintain sterile technique, operate fluoroscopy equipment, and provide hemodynamic monitoring for adult and geriatric patients.
Additional Requirements
- Willing to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, NYE, New Year's Day)
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer changes may not be approved
- Background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or BG hits)
