Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – RN

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends required (Friday & Saturday)
• Possible on-call
• 13-week contract

About the Role

Join the NICU team at the facility, where you'll care for critically ill and premature newborns using evidence-based nursing practice. You'll assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care delivery with the interdisciplinary team. Your clinical scope includes hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy management, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement and maintenance.

Qualifications Required

• 2+ years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience
• Active Texas or Compact RN license
• Active BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications
• Strong proficiency with HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC lines
• Chartting system experience required
