Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care on a busy med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and managing a diverse patient population requiring telemetry surveillance.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Start Date: September 25, 2026

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• Permanent Ohio license or current Compact license in hand
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in med/surg telemetry (from assignments within the past 12 months)
• Clear background check; no open cases or license hits

What to Expect

You'll work in a fast-paced telemetry environment caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments will be completed during orientation—you'll have a maximum of two attempts to achieve an acceptable score on each.

Additional Notes

• Background screening and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start modules and annual competency requirements apply
• Drug screening required
