Pediatric Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the team on the night shift. You will provide respiratory care to high-acuity pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12-hour (19:00–07:30)
- 12-week contract
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RRT license
- NBRC certification (active)
- BLS certification (active)
- Advanced NRP and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory care (NICU, PICU, high-level acute care)
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
You will manage respiratory support for neonatal, pediatric ICU, and cardiac ICU patients. Float assignments may include related pediatric facilities in the area.
Facility Requirements
- Nicotine-free/smoke-free facility (non-negotiable)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine test required within 12 months of start
- BCI/FBI background check (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- Two onsite and agency fingerprintings prior to start
- All work history, including any prior assignments with this health system, must be included in your profile
