Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care to a mixed-acuity population with cardiac monitoring capabilities. This role includes potential float assignments to related units caring for similar patient populations.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | Night: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Shifts may vary to meet operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
• Mandatory holiday coverage (minimum every other holiday)
• 20-week contract (13 weeks also available)

Required Qualifications

• 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry (recent experience preferred)
• Active, permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current certifications required:
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (within past 12 months) — supervisor/leadership only, no peer references

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation; acceptable scores required (2 attempts maximum)
• Background checks reviewed; no open cases accepted
• Background check and FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Onboarding & Support

Comprehensive orientation provided. Continuing education modules required annually for extended or returning assignments.
