Medical-Surgical Nursing – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for a night shift role. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit
- Assess patient conditions and respond to care needs
- Collaborate with nursing and interprofessional teams
- Maintain safety and quality standards
- Document care and communicate with day shift staff
Requirements
- Current RN license (Tennessee)
- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Role
You'll work nights on a busy med-surg unit, providing care to patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. Night shift offers a smaller team environment and a different patient population than day shifts. If you thrive during evening hours and enjoy continuity of care, this assignment is worth considering.
