MRI Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's radiology department is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract. You'll perform general MRI imaging of the head, neck, abdomen, and extremities, with an average of 14 scans per day.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week (3 shifts)
• Call: 1 night per week and every 3–4 weekends
• Weekend & Holiday: Required
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• BLS (AHA) certification
• ARRT (MR) certification (Certified MRI Technologist)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to start IVs
• Must be in-state for orientation week

What You'll Do

Work in a single-scanner MRI environment performing routine imaging studies. You'll interact with radiologists on-site during business hours and manage patient flow in a steady-paced clinical setting.

Logistics

• 60-mile radius (Durango, CO area)
• Radiation badge provided by the facility
• No float requirements; dedicated to MRI
• Hospital cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
