ICU-CCU Travel Nurse | Night Shift | West Burlington, IA
This 13-week travel assignment places you in an Intensive Care Unit – Cardiac Care Unit managing a high-acuity adult patient population. Clinical focus includes cardiac/telemetry monitoring, stroke care, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week, with overtime possible
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Occasional low-census call may occur; if called in, a one-hour on-site response is expected
Clinical Requirements
- Active RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Recent experience in a comparable ICU/CCU setting
- Charting system experience within the last 12 months in a like unit required
Important Pre-Assignment Requirement
Upon acceptance, travelers must self-study telemetry strip interpretation. A Basic Dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week — passing is mandatory to work in the ICU-CCU.
