Special Care Nursery RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Special Care Nursery. You'll provide direct patient care on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (days and nights), working three 12-hour shifts per week with guaranteed 72 biweekly hours.

Clinical Scope

Care for underweight and premature infants requiring specialized monitoring and support. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, assessment, and nursing interventions appropriate to neonatal acuity levels.

Requirements

• Current RN license (MA)
• Level 1 B NICU experience required
• Demonstrated experience in a Special Care Nursery setting
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Proficiency with facility charting systems
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
• Must have been separated from previous assignments for 6+ months
