Day Shift | 13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
This OR position supports a busy surgical services department performing a broad range of specialties, making it an excellent fit for experienced, detail-oriented OR clinicians.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 06:30–15:00
- On-call is mandatory based on unit need
- Weekend call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekday call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
Clinical Scope
The OR handles a diverse surgical caseload including:
- Neurosurgery
- Urology
- General and colorectal surgery
- Plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
Requirements
- Active RN license and/or CST certification required
- Prior OR scrubbing/circulating experience essential — candidates without demonstrated OR skills will not be considered
- Motivated, detail-oriented approach to patient care
Additional Details
- Float: Bay Area OR as needed
- Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
- Contract length: 91 weeks of availability; initial assignment 13 weeks
- Start date: September 21, 2026
