Mental Health Social Worker – 91-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility seeks an LCSW to join its mental health team providing direct patient care and care coordination in an acute care setting. This is a full-time, day-shift role ideal for a clinician with established experience in California's mental health system.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 8-hour days, 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 91 weeks
• Start Date: September 15, 2026

Required Qualifications

• California LCSW license
• BLS certification
• 5150 certification in California (involuntary psychiatric evaluation and 72-hour hold authority)
• Prior direct experience with Dignity Health in California is mandatory
• Two supervisor references: one from the past 12 months and one from the past 3 years

Work Environment

• Business casual attire; care coordination white lab coats provided
• Acute care mental health setting
• Shift cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week period may be cancelled by the facility
