Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care in a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients across the acuity spectrum in this fast-paced environment.

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Duration: 13–20 weeks
• Start Date: September 25, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required at submission)
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in your specialty (within the past 12 months; manager or director preferred, not co-worker references)

Additional Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation (must achieve passing score; maximum 2 attempts)
• Background check and drug screening required
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Annual hands-on competency requirement applies for nurses on continuous contracts of 1+ year
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
