Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 20-week contract (13 weeks also available) to provide winter coverage. You'll work 3x12-hour rotating shifts — day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will make every effort to honor your preference.

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to medical-surgical telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing acute and post-operative patients. There is potential to float to other med-surg units to care for the same patient population, allowing you to broaden your experience while maintaining clinical continuity.

Requirements

• 18 months combined permanent experience in Med-Surg Tele (may be at one location or combined across settings)
• 18 months of recent Med-Surg Tele experience (travel experience counts)
• Current Ohio state license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months
• Availability to work every other holiday
• Willing to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; acceptable scores required
