Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting.

Requirements

• 18 months of combined permanent ER experience required (travel experience counts). Prefer experience concentrated in one location but not required.
• Active licenses: Permanent Ohio license OR compact state license in hand at time of application (non-negotiable).
• Active certifications required:
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC preferred
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months. Peer/co-worker references will not be accepted.

Expectations

• Must work at least every other holiday.
• You'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required (maximum 2 attempts).
• Contract includes pre-start and annual competency modules; some hours are billable per facility policy.
• Must be nicotine-free (temporary exemption for nurses and CSTs).
• Background check, drug screen, and BCI/FBI fingerprinting required.

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start: September 25, 2026
• Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 days per week
