Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Position Overview

Seasonal travel position in the facility's neonatal intensive care unit. This 13-week assignment runs 7 PM – 7 AM shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll provide respiratory care to critically ill neonates, managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels. The unit is equipped with advanced ventilation technology including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, conventional ventilators, and non-invasive support devices. Clinical responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management and optimization, and emergency department support.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months current NICU RRT experience
• NICU Level III experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NBRC Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care background
• PICU experience
• Prior experience with facility charting systems
