Medical/Surgical Travel Nurse — Sioux City, IA

This 13-week contract places you on a general medical/surgical floor caring for post-operative patients requiring overnight stays. The unit is fast-paced and collaborative, with an interdisciplinary team approach to patient management.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36- or 48-hour week options available
• Every-other-weekend requirement
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses required

Clinical Details

• Patient population: post-op patients with overnight stay needs
• Acuity: general med/surg with telemetry monitoring
• No on-call requirement

Compensation Notes

• Overtime billable after 40 hours (36-hr schedule) or after 48 hours (48-hr schedule)
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier | Callback: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• Charge/Preceptor differential available

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• Active Iowa RN license

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Driver's license
• Updated resume/work history
• Skills checklist (completed within the past 12 months)
• License verification
• Copies of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference
• Taxable address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the last 12 months
