Cardiac Cath Lab RN – Procedural
Shift & Schedule
8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 0630–1500, plus call. Approximately 10–11 call days per month (including 1 weekend) with a 30-minute response time. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Clinical Setting
You'll work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing a wide range of procedures: electrophysiology cases (ICDs, pacemakers, ablations for A-flutter, SVT, and A-fib), peripheral interventions, neuro cases, and traumatic embolization. The lab typically runs 5–7 cases daily, with peak days reaching 15 procedures.
Your Role
As a circulating RN, you'll manage patient care and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures. You'll work as part of a three-person team per case (circulating RN, scrub tech, and monitor tech). All staff are cross-trained to support monitoring duties. Pre- or post-operative experience is preferred; IR experience and familiarity with emergent stroke cases are valuable.
Location & Float
You'll float between two campuses in Bryan and College Station, TX, with Bryan serving as your home base.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Pre- or post-op experience strongly preferred
Contract Details
84-week assignment. The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week period (or 3 shifts for shorter assignments).
