Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit. You'll provide direct care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule & Contract
- NOC shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: September 28, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact privilege)
- Minimum 18 months of L&D experience
- BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required before start
- ACLS preferred
- Proficient with IV insertion and electronic charting
Clinical Scope
You'll manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, monitor fetal status, and provide postpartum and newborn care. The unit handles a full spectrum of obstetric cases and acuities.
Float Expectations
You must be willing to float to other departments across the facility as staffing needs arise. Float assignments will be department-based and monitored.
