Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit. You'll provide direct care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule & Contract

• NOC shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: September 28, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact privilege)
• Minimum 18 months of L&D experience
• BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required before start
• ACLS preferred
• Proficient with IV insertion and electronic charting

Clinical Scope

You'll manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, monitor fetal status, and provide postpartum and newborn care. The unit handles a full spectrum of obstetric cases and acuities.

Float Expectations

You must be willing to float to other departments across the facility as staffing needs arise. Float assignments will be department-based and monitored.
