Night Shift Stepdown Nurse – 13-Week Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced stepdown nurse for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit managing patients transitioning from higher acuity settings.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start dates available every Monday
Requirements
- Current GA or compact state RN license (in hand)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months stepdown experience within the past 3 years
- Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius
What to Expect
- Navy blue scrubs
- Rhythm identification test (proctored) required upon hire; two attempts allowed, not multiple choice
- Interviews conducted by the nursing manager
