Stepdown Nurse – Atlanta, GA

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Start dates available every Monday

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Georgia or compact license in hand
• 18 months of stepdown experience within the past 3 years
• Willing to work within a 50-mile radius (travel assignments only; no local staff)

Clinical Details

You'll provide care on a stepdown unit managing intermediate-acuity patients transitioning from higher levels of care. This role requires solid assessment and monitoring skills, comfort with telemetry, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Important Notes

• Upon start, you'll complete a proctored rhythm identification test (not multiple choice). You'll have two attempts to pass.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Scrubs requirements should be confirmed upon offer.
