Stepdown Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced stepdown nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. You'll provide care to patients transitioning from intensive care, supporting clinical recovery and safe discharge planning.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Frequency: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Start: Every Monday; next available September 28, 2026
• Scrubs: Navy blue

Requirements

• Current GA or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of stepdown specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Must be available to work within a 50-mile radius (non-local travelers only)

Assessment

Upon hire, you'll complete a proctored rhythm identification test. You'll have two attempts to pass; the test is not multiple-choice format.

Contract Terms

• 13-week assignment
• 90 guaranteed hours
• Flexible Monday start dates available
