Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit. You'll provide direct patient care across a diverse patient population, managing acute and post-operative cases with a focus on quality outcomes and patient safety.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Current RN license (Compact accepted)
• Minimum 1 year 6 months nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Conscious Sedation certification required

Clinical Skills & Scope

You'll work independently and collaboratively to perform:

• Telemetry monitoring
• Peripheral and central line management (IVs, PICC lines)
• Lumbar punctures
• Conscious sedation monitoring
• Electronic health record documentation
