Outpatient Oncology IV Therapy Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced IV therapy nurse for its outpatient oncology infusion program. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, supporting cancer patients throughout their treatment journey.

Shift & Schedule

• AM shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 40 hours
• 13-week contract

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertions and manage venous access devices
• Insert and maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Administer oncology infusions and supportive care therapies
• Monitor patients for complications and adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with oncology physicians and care team

Requirements

• Current RN license (state-specific)
• BLS certification
• Proven experience with IV therapy, central line management, and PICC line insertion
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
