Outpatient IV Therapy Specialist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced IV Therapy Specialist for its outpatient oncology program. You'll provide essential infusion services and vascular access support to patients receiving outpatient treatment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Core Responsibilities
- Insert peripheral and central venous catheters
- Place and maintain PICC lines
- Initiate and monitor IV infusions
- Assess and troubleshoot venous access devices
- Provide patient education and support
- Document care and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- Current CNML, CRNI, or equivalent IV therapy certification
- Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion or IV therapy experience
- Demonstrated competency with central line placement and PICC line insertion
- Strong phlebotomy and assessment skills
