Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week temporary assignment in a busy cardiac intervention program. You'll support a high-volume lab performing 15–20 cases daily, including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, mitral clip procedures, CTO interventions, and related advanced coronary work.

Schedule & Hours

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, three 12-hour days per week (36 hours/week)
  • On-Call: Rotated night and weekend call required
  • Start: ASAP

Clinical Scope

You'll work alongside interventional cardiologists using advanced equipment including balloon pumps, Impella devices, intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), atherectomy systems, laser technology, and pressure-wire assessment tools. The role demands strong technical skills, attention to detail under pressure, and the ability to anticipate physician needs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician (specific credential varies by state)
  • Cath lab experience required
  • RCIS certification preferred
