Night Shift Nursing Position
Position Details:
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
About the Role:
Join the facility's medical-surgical nursing team on the night shift. You'll provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and comfort. Required Credentials & Screening (completed during onboarding):
- Current nursing license verification
- Background check and criminal screening
- Drug screen and fit test
- Required vaccinations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Color vision and physical health assessment
- Specialty-specific competency testing
- Education and credential verification
- Compliance training (child/adult abuse reporting, confidentiality, code of conduct)
