Surgical Technologist – OR
Location: Chico, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: July 13, 2026
Shift: 10-hour shifts, varied days (including possible weekends), no on-call
About the Role
Join the operating room team at the facility, supporting surgical cases in both the inpatient main OR and outpatient same-day surgery center. You'll float between settings as needed to meet surgical volume and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgical teams during cases
- Maintain sterile field and follow OR protocols
- Support both inpatient and outpatient surgical environments
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist, OR
- Graduate of an accredited Operation Room Technician program
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to adapt to varied scheduling and float assignments
