Pulmonary / Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Tuscaloosa, AL

Contract: 14 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights) | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week (36 or 48 hours per week accepted)

This Pulmonary telemetry unit focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory disorders and lung injuries. The interdisciplinary care model involves close collaboration with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy to deliver high-quality, specialized patient care.

Unit Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Holidays required; every other weekend required
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospital locations
• Scrub color: Solid navy

Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (or higher)
• License: Active Registered Nurse license — State of Alabama or compact license; no temporary licenses accepted
• Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (18 months considered if working at the highest professional license level); must have at least 1 year of recent experience in pulmonary or medical-surgical telemetry
